Mar 21, 2025

Revolutionising Workplace Culture

One year ago, we launched WCorp at the United Nations, embarking on a mission to revolutionise workplace culture worldwide. This month, we’re proud to celebrate our first anniversary and the remarkable achievements of our certified organisations, which span six continents.

At WCorp, we're leading the charge in creating inclusive, high-performing environments that drive measurable business results.

Let’s spotlight some of our outstanding certified companies:

Showcasing Certified Companies

C&C Search

C&C Search, founded by UN Women UK Ambassador Lucy Chamberlain, is making significant strides in empowering women and promoting workplace excellence. As a WCorp Certified organisation, C&C Search is actively championing gender equality and driving meaningful change in the workplace.

The company supports women through various initiatives:

  1. Launched in April 2020, this global training platform offers CPD-certified qualifications and bespoke training to help women enhance their skills and progress in their careers.
  2. C&C Search collaborates with the Young Women's Trust and The Lady Garden Foundation, supporting causes that uplift and provide opportunities for women.

"[Since WCorp certification], I think the women in the business feel safer. Culturally, we feel like a safer place to be. Structurally, we feel more professional. There is now all of the different processes and policies in place that underpin healthy culture equally. Before the certification, we were doing brilliantly. I now think we are delivering excellence. And there is a real sense of pride for the women in the team."

UN Women

UN Women continues to lead the global charge for gender equality, with a significant focus on the upcoming sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), which will take place from March 10 to 21, 2025.

This session marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, and it will review progress and address current challenges in implementing these critical documents.

As part of WCorp's commitment to supporting UN Women's mission, I, Geeta Sidhu-Robb, will be attending CSW69 to represent WCorp and contribute to the discussions on advancing gender equality worldwide. Through initiatives like these, UN Women remains at the forefront of promoting women's rights and empowerment globally.

Fortro

Fortro is committed to empowering women in business, as evident from their recent participation in the Voices of Women Summit on International Women's Day 2025. At the summit, they shared insights on bridging the gap between revenue and impact, highlighting their expertise in driving business success while making a positive difference.

Additionally, Fortro attended the South of Scotland Enterprise's International Women's Day event, further demonstrating their dedication to gender equality and workplace empowerment.

Looking ahead, Fortro is set to launch a virtual workshop sponsored by Google, aimed at helping women build confidence in sales and selling, scheduled for April 29th. This ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive environments and supporting women's professional growth showcases Fortro's leadership in promoting workplace excellence.

“As soon as I mentioned that I've been WCorp-certified, [my interviewees] were in. Because what it said to them was, here's a woman who takes what she says seriously. She actually walks the talk. They felt that they had a place that they could express themselves.”

CEO of Fortro Ltd

Edinburgh, Scotland

In addition to these standout companies, we also want to acknowledge WeAreLudo, who empower women through inclusive tech solutions, and Abi Adams, whose innovative approach to female health awareness has inspired many. Each is an example of pioneering leadership, inspiring a brighter future for all.

The Impact of WCorp Certification

As we look to the future, I’m so excited to continue our work in driving meaningful change across organisations worldwide. This is what it looks like to change modern history.

That's why, as a global champion for equity, supporting WCorp is an easy choice for me. They shine a spotlight on companies and organisations that embrace policies and actions that embrace the full potential of women’s voices and strengths.
